The Habitat for Humanities of Snohomish Co. (HFHSC) weekly construction report keeps stakeholders informed and involved. Published Mondays. Covers our four active projects. Feedback/questions welcome at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Phoenix 2 (P2) All plan approvals registered by week’s end. Administrative tasks will be completed early next week, allowing final permit fee calculation. Permits released upon payment. Completed moving two group build days out in time.
On Tuesday 5/17/16 we’ll come together for the the Phoenix 2 construction kick-off meeting. At the office 16929 Hwy 99 Lynnwood 7p. We’ll review what we’re going to be building, and why. Also some discussion on who’s doing what. In particular my role as construction manager. Anyone interested is welcome. Meeting planned for 1h duration. Want to look ahead? See “What’s after P2 permits?”
Twin Creeks (TC) No significant TC activities this week. Residents probably appreciate same. Was on-site regularly to access storage container. Did not get carpet stretched as planned; bumps to coming week. See more on TC work item list. With all major work items complete TC moves to maintenance mode. Five of seven units occupied. One ready to occupy. Target 100% occupancy on 6/1/16. (TC site map)
Altena Gardens (AG) One build day, Thursday 5/5/16, was planned and completed. Not long after lunch the last fence board was nailed tight (photo). That brought to completion a five-year project that has changed five families for generations to come. Many thanks to the hundreds of builders for the thousands of hours you invested. Habitat Heros each one!
With completion of all work items AG will no longer be included in this report.
Everett Store Fence Created basic construction plans required for project, and laid out fence line for utility locator service. Calling fence supply houses for materials quote. (Will recycle parts from old fence.) See work item list. Will complete work items alongside P2 effort keeping in mind our end-date 6/17/16.
