Habitat for Humanity of Snohomish County celebrated with the Corona and Denbel families last Saturday as they accepted the keys to their new homes. The event took place as volunteers continue to complete the last two homes at our Altena Gardens development.
The ceremony included statements from volunteers, board members and families. Partner Families contribute over 500 hours of sweat equity and take on a no-interest home mortgage through Habitat. Thanks to our volunteers, sponsors and donors, we are thrilled to welcome them into their safe, decent and affordable home.
The development was made possible through a grant from the Snohomish County HUD HOME Program and generous contributions from HomeStreet Bank, The Stillaguamish Tribe of Indians, Tulalip Tribes Charitable Contributions, Wells Fargo Bank, Windermere Foundation and many others.
